“The Bulgarian government is ready to secure gas for a maximum period of time, at least 3-4 months. There is a decision of the Council of Ministers to inject additional gas quantities in UGS Chiren. We have ideas for alternative supplies”, said Bulgaria's Deputy Prime Minister on Economic Development Daniela Bobeva in response to a journalist's question regarding Russia-Ukrain gas supply disputes.

We have ideas for alternative supplies”, said Bulgaria's Deputy Prime Minister on Economic Development Daniela Bobeva in response to a journalist's question regarding Russia-Ukrain gas supply disputes.
Ms. Bobeva explained that the construction of another storage facility was envisaged in the energy strategy, which would soon be presented.“We are due to present the reindustrialization program. We worked on it thoroughly over the past few months and its aim is to encourage the industry, producing products with high added value and export potential and to achieve the share of industry in GDP, set by the Commission”, the Deputy Prime Minister said.
She added that the third document, which would soon be presented, was a refugee integration strategy. “This issue is no longer as acute as in the beginning, but we have not yet fulfilled our commitments in this regard”, the Deputy Prime Minister said.
