Turkish energy company Zorlu Enerji [BIST:ZOREN] said on Tuesday its wholly-owned unit Zorlu Dogal Elektrik Uretim has decided to set up a 24.9 megawatt (MW) geothermal power plant in the western Turkish province of Denizli.

The company has applied with Turkey’s energy market regulator for a preliminary licence for power generation form the planned plant, Zorlu Enerji said in a bourse filing.
