The cost of the planned Bulgaria-Serbia gas interconnector will surpass BGN 68 million (about EUR 34 m), preliminary estimates of Bulgaria’s Ministry of Energy and Economy revealed.
The construction work would cost BGN 67.7 m, while the control and consultancy would necessitate BGN 300,000 and BGN 20,000 respectively, Trud wrote as citing data by the ministry. The implementation of the interconnector will be co-financed under the OP “Competitiveness” with financing for both the last programme period (2007 - 2013) and the new one spanning until 2020 reports Publics.
