Turkish petrochemicals major Petkim Petrokimya Holdings said it has decided to raise the capital of its wholly-owned port operating unit Petlim Limancilik by 80.7% to 150 million Turkish lira ($68 million/54 million euro).

Petkim will pay one quarter of the required 67 million lira during the capital increase process and the remaining three quarters in 24 months from the registry of the capital hike, the company said in a bourse filing on Monday.

In a separate bourse filing on Monday, Petkim said its negotiations with Goldman Sachs for the potential sale of a stake in Petlim will continue. Petkim said in July that it has granted Goldman Sachs the exclusive right to negotiate the acquisition of 30% of Petlim for $250 million.
