Electricity in southeast Europe (SEE) in the first half of 2014 was cheapest in
Kosovo and Serbia where households paidan average of 0.055 euro ($0.068) and
0.061 euro per kilowatt hour (kWh), respectively, the bloc’s statistics office
said.
Electricity prices during the first half of 2014 were the highest
in SEE in Slovenia, 0.163 euro per kWh, and Croatia, 0.131 euro per kWh,
Eurostat said in a report posted on its website on Tuesday.
The average
electricity price for households in the EU was 0.205 euro per kWh in the
January-June period.
