The
construction of the Suhadol, Trbovlje and Renke
hydro power plants (HPP) on the Middle Sava river
in Slovenia is expected to be completed by 2020,
local media reported on Friday.
The total cost of the project is estimated at 475
million euro ($577 million), state-run news agency
STA reported, quoting officials from the
infrastructure ministry.
According to data of Slovenian state-owned power
conglomerate Holding Slovenske Elektrarne, which
is charge of the project, the Suhadol, Trbovlje
and Renke power plants will have a capacity of 41
megawatts (MW), 34 MW and 35 MW, respectively.
