Bosnian state-controlled power utility Elektroprivreda BiH, plans to put into operation the Podvelezje wind park by the end of
2016, local media reported.
The construction of the wind park, with
investment value estimated at 140 million marka ($101 million/71.6 million
euro), should start this year after the selection of a project contractor, news
agency Fena, reported on Wednesday, quoting the
company.
EPBiH said earlier that it will borrow 65 million euro ($76.6
million) from Germany’s KfW to help finance the Podvelezje wind park which is
planned to consist of 16 wind turbines with a combined capacity of up to 48
megawatts. Annual output is projected at 100 gigawatt-hours.
