Slovenia's sole nuclear power plant Krsko generated
518,043 MWh of net electricity in January, or 7.3% above plan, the plant
operator said on Friday.
Gross electricity output totalled 544,084 MWh in
January, Krsko said in a statement on its website.
Krsko ended 2014 with
record-high power production of more than 6.0 billion kWh of
electricity.
Krsko was built in Slovenia near the border with Croatia in
the 1970s when the two countries were still part of the former Yugoslavia. The
two neighbours share the power plant's output.
