Upon his arrival to theEuropean Councilearlier, the Greek Prime Minister, Alexis Tsipras, stated:
"I am very confident that all together we can find a mutually viable solution in order to healthe woundsof austerity, to tackle humanitarian crisis across [the] European Union, and to bring Europe back to the road of growth and social cohesion."
Earlier this week the Tsipras government received avote of confidence from the Greek Parliament. The following morning saw an emergency meeting of the Eurogroup, yetno agreement was achieved.
