Bosnia's Holdina, a unit of Croatian oil and gas company INA, said
on Thursday it plans to build four filling stations along the A1 motorway worth
a combined 6 million euro ($6.8 million).
Holdina has signed with Bosnian
state-owned motorway company JP Autoceste FBiH two contractsfor the use of
roadside plots and for the provision of roadside services that pave the way for
the construction of the filling stations, the company's press office said in an
emailed response to a SeeNews inquiry.
Holdina will now start developing
the project design for the filing stations - which will be located on either
side of the motorway at Lepenica, close to Sarajevo, and at Kravice, near the
southern town of Ljubuski - and obtaining the necessary permits, after which the
construction works should start.
Holdina currently operates 46 filling
stations across Bosnia and Herzegovina.
