Romania's energy output rose by an annual 4.7% in January, while imports
fell11.2%, the statistics office, INS, said on Wednesday.
Romania's
energy production totalled 1.94 million tonnes of oil equivalent (TOE) in
January, while imports reached 0.78million TOE, INS said in a
statement.
A TOE is the rounded-off amount of energy that would be
produced by burning one metric tonne of crude oil.
