Bosnia’s gross electricity output rose 2.5% on the year to 1,577 GWh
in January, data of the country's statistics office indicated on
Wednesday.
The gross output of the country’s hydro power plants jumped
27.6% to 736 GWh in January, while its thermal power plants generated 840 GWh,
down by 12.7% on the year, the Statistics Agency said in a
statement.
Electricity imports totalled 232 GWh in January while exports
amounted to 585 GWh.
Bosnia’s gross electricity output fell 7.6% to
15,680 GWh in 2014.
