Romania's
largest hydropower producer, state-controlled Hidroelectrica, said on Monday it
will implementan Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system system worth 1.7
million euro ($1.9 million) thatwill increase the efficiency of the management
and decision-making processes.

Business Consulting, Electrica Soluziona and Indra has won a tender organised by
Hidroelectrica for the provision of an ERP system, the companysaid in a
statement, adding that it had received 11 bids in the tender.
The price
of the ERP system is given net of VAT.
"The project is vital for
Hidroelectrica in view of its future bourse-listing," the representative of the
company's judicial administrator, Remus Borza, said in the
statement.
Hidroelectrica has beenundergoing reorganisation since
February 2014. It was first declared insolvent in June 2012, after which
itexitedinsolvency proceedings in June 2013.
The Romanian government
plans to float a 15% stake in Hidroelectrica on the Bucharest bourse once the
company wraps up insolvency procedures.
Hidroelectrica produced more than
18.2 terrawatt-hours (TWh) of electricity in2014, above its17.5 TWh
target.The company operates 219 hydropower plants with a combined installed
capacity of 6,443 MW.
