Austria's energy giant OMV's new Chief Financial Officer (CFO)
Reinhard Florey will take up his position on July 1, 2016, the company
announced on Friday.
OMV said that Florey will start his post at
the headquarters in Vienna one month earlier than planned by reducing
his contract period with his current employer.
Florey is currently CFO of Finnish steel company Outokumpu, but he has worked in the steel industry since 1995.
The
current CFO and Deputy Chairman of the Executive Board David C. Davies
will leave the OMV Executive Board from July 31, 2016, following a
one-month handover period.
Florey's appointment by the OMV
Supervisory Board was made in January 2016 for a three-year period with
an extension option for OMV for an additional two years.
Florey is married and has two sons.
