German utility E.ON AG (EOA.XE) plans three changes to its supervisory board, according to the invitation for its annual general meeting published on the company's Web site.

The company has nominated Werner Wenning, chief executive of chemical and pharmaceutical company Bayer AG (BAY.XE) to join the supervisory board.

Further, E.ON has nominated Bard Mikkelson, president and CEO of Norway's Statkraft AS, and Karen de Segundo, former CEO of Royal Dutch Shell PLC (RDSA) unit Shell International Renewables, to join the supervisory board.

The three new members will replace Rolf Breuer, former CEO of Deutsche Bank AG (DB), as well as the former supervisory board chairmen of Siemens AG (SI) and Volkswagen AG (VOW.XE); Karl-Hermann Baumann and Klaus Liesen.

The chairman of the E.ON supervisory board will continue to be Ulrich Hartmann, who is the former CEO of E.ON, the world's largest investor-owned utility by market value.

E.ON's annual general meeting is scheduled for April 30.
