The ongoing talks with Turkish state oil company Botas came as a result of a recent meeting by president Rumen Radev with his Turkish counterpart, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, Hristov said in a press release over the weekend.
The Bulgarian interim energy minister and Botas chairman and general manager Burhan Ozcan also discussed potential cooperation between Bulgaria and Turkey in the field of green hydrogen production as well as carbon capture and utilisation.
Working meetings between experts from both countries will continue from Monday onwards.
