Italian oil and gas company Eni SpA (E) Tuesday said it signed contracts for the sale of gas to Russia, becoming the first European company to enter the Russian downstream market.
Italian oil and gas company Eni SpA (E) Tuesday said it signed contracts for the sale of gas to Russia, becoming the first European company to enter the Russian downstream market.

Eni said in a statement its Russian unit had signed contracts with Russia's TGK-9 to sell 350 million cubic meters of gas by 2010, allowing it to target selling 900 million cubic meters in 2011.
