Russian natural gas giant OAO Gazprom (GAZP.RS) has settled all outstanding questions with Belarus' gas pipeline monopoly Beltransgaz regarding supplies of natural gas and transit to Europe for 2008, Gazprom said Tuesday in a statement.

Gazprom also said that Belarus has paid all outstanding debt for the first half of this year.

Last month, Gazprom accused Belarus of not paying the agreed price for gas deliveries and threatened to go to court if Minsk continued to ignore its commitments.

Gazprom sells natural gas to Belarus far below market price. Belarus pays $128 per 1,000 cubic meters as of April 1, having paid $119 in the first quarter of this year and $100 last year.

Gazprom supplies a quarter of Europe's gas needs and sends one fifth of its total exports via Belarus.
