Kosovo plans to hold auctions for 950 MW of renewable energy projects with a total investment value of around 1.2 billion euro ($1.3 billion) over the next two years, the energy ministry said

The next auction will be for a 150 MW wind park, the energy ministry said in a press release last week.

Kosovo’s energy strategy foresees that by 2031 as much as 32% of the country's energy output come from renewables, up from 6% currently, the ministry has said.

Kosovo is currently holding an auction for a 100 MW solar power plant, its first solar power auction, in which six international bidders have submitted offers.
