Kazakh London-listed oil and gas producer KazMunaiGas Exploration Production (RDGZ.KZ) said Tuesday its proved plus probable reserves increased 0.5% to 241.2 million metric tons, or 1.78 billion barrels.

Kazakh London-listed oil and gas producer KazMunaiGas Exploration Production (RDGZ.KZ) said Tuesday its proved plus probable reserves increased 0.5% to 241.2 million metric tons, or 1.78 billion barrels.

KazMunaiGas Exploration Production, or KMG EP, said in a statement that the annual audit of its oil and gas reserves and resources had been carried out by the independent energy consulting firm Gaffney, Cline & Associates.

KMG EP said the updated reserves figures don't include the company's interests in Kazgermunai and Karazhanbasmunai.

The reserves replacement ratio, the ratio of the replacement of production with reserves during the year, was 113%.
