Germany's network regulator, the Bundesnetzagentur, Tuesday said it has approved investment budgets of around EUR415 million that will allow the affected grid operators to expand their power networks.

The approval was granted for three projects planned by Vattenfall Europe Transmission GmbH, a unit of Vattenfall Europe.

The regulator further approved one project planned by Bayernets GmbH, the Bundesnetzagentur said in a written statement.
