OAO Gazprom (GAZP.RS), the world's biggest producer of natural gas, has delayed plans to build a gas pipeline to China due to disagreements over pricing, the company's Deputy Chief Executive Alexander Ananenkov said Wednesday.

In 2006, Gazprom signed a protocol with China National Petroleum Corp., or CNPC, on a new 6,000-kilometer gas pipeline to China, which was to be completed in 2011.

"No one is talking about gas supplies to China in 2011 anymore," Ananenkov said, adding that the two countries disagree over pricing terms.
