Russia's oil exports, including the transit of oil through Russia, to countries outside the Commonwealth of Independent States decreased 4.2% on the year to 18.532 million metric tons in July, TsDU-TEK, which provides data and analysis to the Energy Ministry, said in a report obtained by Prime-Tass news agency Monday.
Of the total, oil transit through Russia increased 3.5% on the year to 2.163 million tons in July, TsDU-TEK said.
Kazakhstan's oil transit through Russia amounted to 1.769 million tons in July, while Azerbaijan's oil transit was at 247,000 tons and Belarus' oil transit amounted to 147,300 tons. No comparisons were provided.
