Venezuela 's Oil Ministry has three offers from private interests for help developing an oil block in the eastern Orinoco region and may choose one of them by the end of this year, an official said. The oil block, Carabobo 2, is the only one of three blocks put up for auction in February that wasn't assigned. Baldo Sanso, an advisor at the ministry, told local radio that of the three offers on the table for the unassigned block, "some are individual (companies) and others are consortiums."
