German industrial conglomerate Siemens AG (SI) said Thursday it received long-term service contracts in the Philippines and France worth around EUR800 million.

MAIN FACTS:

-Subsidiaries of the Philippine power plant operator First Gen Corp. (FGEN.PH) have awarded two 15-year service contracts to Siemens' Energy Service division, which will provide operation and maintenance for natural gas-fired power plants totaling 1,000 megawatt.

-The French power plant operator Poweo SA (ALPWO.FR) awarded a 19-year service contract to Siemens, under which it will be responsible for operation and maintenance for the 413-MW combined-cycle gas turbine power plant that is being built in Toul by Siemens
