French refineries have been able to restart production in the last few days after a strike blocking crude oil supply from the Fos-Lavera oil terminal came to end this week-end.

Fos-Lavera, the world's third-biggest oil port with annual traffic of around 60 million metric tons, supplies six of the 12 French refineries. As well as LyondellBasell's (LALLF) Berre L'Etang plant, it supplies Ineos's Lavera plant, Exxon Mobil Corp.'s (XOM) Fos-sur-Mer plant, Total's La Mede plant and its Feyzin refinery near Lyon and PetroPlus AG's (PPHN.VX) Reichstett plant in eastern France.

Fos-Lavera also supplies Petroplus's Cressier refinery in
Switzerland and the joint venture Mineraloelraffinerie Oberrhein refinery in Germany .
