Indonesia 's 2010 crude oil production reached 947,000 barrels a day, below the government's target of 965,000 barrels a day, a government official said Thursday.

Raden Priyono, chairman of the upstream oil and gas regulating body BPMigas told reporters that the target wasn't met partly due to leakage in a pipeline in Riau recently, which caused a total of 160,000 barrels a day in lost production.

However, Priyono said, the rate of decline in Indonesia's crude output slowed to 0.25% this year from 12% last year.
