China National Petroleum Corp., the parent of PetroChina Co. (PTR), will aim to maintain annual growth in crude oil production at an average of two million metric tons, Xinhua News Agency reported Wednesday, citing CNPC President Jiang Jiemin as saying at an annual company working meeting.

CNPC's crude oil and natural gas production in 2010 reached 250 million metric tons of oil-equivalent, including 72.5 billion cubic meters of natural gas, Xinhua said, citing the meeting.

CNPC's crude runs in 2010 surpassed 150 million metric tons, Xinhua said.
