China Coal Energy Co. (1898.HK), the country's second-largest coal producer by revenue, said Tuesday that its December output totaled 9.84 million metric tons, up 24% from a year earlier, while its 2010 output rose 22% to 123.3 million tons.

The Beijing-based company also said in a statement that its total sales for 2010 rose 21% to 117.8 million tons.
