South Korea 's nuclear policy remains unchanged despite Japan 's recent nuclear disaster, an executive at Korea Electric Power Corp. (KEP.N) said Tuesday.

"Our main policy will be maintained," said Hee Young Lee, senior vice president of Kepco's United Arab Emirates Nuclear Power Project Division.

"We will continuously develop nuclear power plants."

He declined to comment on the U.A.E.'s current project, which involves the building of two power plants at Braka in the west of
Abu Dhabi emirate.

Although feedback will be sought about the Japanese disaster, there is no official review or policy change in
South Korea because of it, he added.
