French state-controlled utility Electricite de France (EDF.FR) will delist its renewable energy unit EDF Energies Nouvelles (EEN.FR) from the Paris stock market on July 21, it said in a filing to market regulator AMF Tuesday.

EDF owns 96.71% of the unit's shares after offering EUR40 for each Energies Nouvelles share that it didn't already own. It will squeeze out the few remaining shareholders in the business for the same EUR40 a share offer price, it said in the filing.
