Tokyo Gas Co. (9531.TO) said Tuesday it will supply up to 400,000 metric tons a year of liquefied natural gas to Hokkaido Gas Co. (9534.TO) for 11 years starting in 2012.

The contract, signed between the two gas utilities earlier in the day, is Tokyo Gas's first contract to resell its LNG intake, the company said in a statement.

Tokyo Gas will resell cargoes it takes under free-on-board contracts, according to the statement.
