A consortium led by BP PLC (BP) will start constructing the third natural gas liquefaction plant at the Tangguh facility in 2015, the chairman of the upstream Oil and gas regulator BPMigas said Friday.

Raden Priyono told reporters the construction of the plant, which will have a processing capacity of 700 million cubic feet/day, is expected to be completed in 2018.

Priyono said the LNG will be sold to domestic petrochemical companies.
