Nigeria will export 2.1 million barrels a day of crude in October, traders who had seen provisional loading programs told Dow Jones Newswires Friday.

The plans show the West African country will export 11 950,000-barrel cargoes of benchmark Qua Iboe crude.

Nigeria is one of Africa 's largest energy exporters and a member of the Organization for Petroleum Exporting Countries.
