Iran is ready for increased cooperation with the United Nations nuclear watchdog and could respond to a limited number of International Atomic Energy Agency "allegations," the country's nuclear chief told IRNA news agency Monday.

"We have asked them to give their key allegations, with documents and proof, so that we could examine them and told the IAEA that if we were to discuss these issues with them they would concern only a limited number" of claims, said Fereydoun Abbasi Davani.

The comments come after a top official of the IAEA this month toured Iranian nuclear sites, including ones where uranium is being enriched.
