The blast might cause a public discussion about nuclear energy in France and could lead to a change in French nuclear policy, a trader says. Germany 's power imports from France have increased by around 50% since the shutdown of German nuclear plants in the wake of the Fukushima incident in Japan ; if these imports would stop, power prices would skyrocket, he adds. DAX is down 3.5% at 5008.08.
