Polish state-controlled power utility PGE Polska Grupa Energetyczna SA may look for new partners for its planned nuclear power stations, said Prime Minister Donald Tusk.

"We're not ruling out increasing the number of partners on the project," he told a press conference Thursday.

PGE is in the process of selecting the site for its first 3,000-megawatt nuclear power plant in Poland, which is expected to come online in 2020.

Three international groups have expressed interest in the project--French Electricite de France SA (EDF.FR) with Areva SA, and two U.S.-Japanese consortia, Westinghouse Electric Company LLC and GE Hitachi Nuclear Energy Americas, according to earlier reports.
