Kuwait 's oil output from its northern fields is currently at 700,000 barrels a day and is expected to grow to 800,000 barrels a day by March 2013, Kuwait-based Al Jarida daily reports Monday citing an executive.

State-run Kuwait Oil Co. is seeking to produce one billion cubic feet of free gas by 2017/2018, Hosnia Hashim, the company's deputy managing director for North Kuwait, said according to the paper.
