Crude-oil futures rose Monday due to fears of supply disruptions following news reports out of Israel indicating possible escalation of tensions with Iran , and amid a stronger euro.

At 0915 GMT, the front-month September Brent contract on
London 's ICE futures exchange was $1.26, or 1.1%, higher at $114.21 a barrel. The front-month September contract on the New York Mercantile Exchange was trading up 66 cents, or 0.7%, at $93.53 per barrel.
