Spanish wind-turbine manufacturer Gamesa Corporacion Tecnologica SA (GAM.MC) said Monday it will supply 48 megawatts of wind power capacity to China 's Longyuan Group.

Gamesa will install 24 turbines, comprising its G87-2.0 MW Class S and G90-2.0 MW models, on the wind farm that the Chinese utility is developing in
Jiangkou , Fujian province.

Gamesa, which didn't provide financial details of the deal, will start to deliver the turbines from October, according to a statement.

Gamesa and Longyuan have signed contracts in
China for a total wind power capacity of 1,728 MW over the past few years.

In
China , Gamesa operates both as a turbine manufacturer and a wind-farm developer. The Spanish company has installed around 3,000 turbines at more than 60 sites across China since 2000. As a wind-farm developer, Gamesa's joint development pipeline in China now totals around 3,000 MW.
