Qatar Liquefied Gas Co., known as Qatargas, said Tuesday it will shut its fourth and fifth liquefaction plants this month for planned maintenance.

The move is part of the company's rolling program of planned maintenance at its facilities, Qatargas said in a statement.

The planned shutdowns "are coordinated with all parties of our operations, shipping and customers as part of our annual maintenance planning," it said.

Qatargas' trains 4 and 5 have capacity to produce 7.8 million metric tons per year each.
