Italian energy utility Edison S.p.A. Monday said it had won an arbitration case against Eni S.p.A. (ENI.MI) and expected to gain more than 250 million euros ($321 million) from it at the level of earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization, or Ebitda.

Edison, which is controlled by French power utility giant Electricite de France S.A. (EDF.FR), said in a statement the Court of Arbitration of the International Chamber of Commerce had ruled in its favor in a dispute with Eni over the price of a long-term gas contract from Libya.

Edison said it was still waiting for a ruling on another case of arbitration regarding an Algerian gas contact, adding that it expected a decision in 2013.
