Gazprom Increases 2012 Investment Program

Russia's Gazprom (GAZP.RS) said Tuesday it increased its 2012 investment program by 198 billion rubles ($6.29 billion) to RUB975.65 billion in order to boost investments into priority projects. "An adjustment of parameters of the investment program for 2012 is mainly conditioned by a necessity to increase investments into priority projects in upstream, transporting and underground storage of gas," Gazprom said in a statement

Russia's Gazprom (GAZP.RS) said Tuesday it increased its 2012 investment program by 198 billion rubles ($6.29 billion) to RUB975.65 billion in order to boost investments into priority projects.

"An adjustment of parameters of the investment program for 2012 is mainly conditioned by a necessity to increase investments into priority projects in upstream, transporting and underground storage of gas," Gazprom said in a statement.

Gazprom shares fell after the statement to RUB149.8 from levels above RUB151.
