Goodwill between Poland 's PGNiG SA (PGN.WA) and Russia 's OAO Gazprom (GAZP.RS) has risen as a result of a price cut the companies agreed on Monday for Russian gas, which opens possible new areas of cooperation, a PGNiG vice-president told reporters Tuesday.

Gazprom may consider co-financing Polish infrastructure projects and the two companies may cooperate on a new gas-fired power plant project as well as on the second line of the Yamal-Europe gas pipeline that runs overland through
Belarus and Poland to Germany , said Radoslaw Dudzinski.

The companies won't renegotiate the gas price formula again before November 2014, Mr. Dudzinski added.
