Nigeria, one of Africa's key energy producers, is set to export at least 2.2 million barrels a day of crude oil in January, largely in line with the volumes originally scheduled to load in December, according to provisional loading programs seen by Dow Jones Newswires this and last week.

The initial slate of loading programs show the country plans to ship a total of 66.8 million barrels of crude oil in January, down from 67.1 million barrels in December.

Force majeure on Royal Dutch Shell PLC's (RDSA) exports of Forcados crude, declared last month, remains in place, while a Bonny Light force majeure has been lifted.

Also, a local unit of Exxon Mobil Corp. (XOM) said last week it had declared force majeure on exports of Qua Iboe crude due to an oil spill on Nov. 9.
