A blast occurred late Tuesday at the Zueitina pipeline, which transports oil from Austrian oil and gas company OMV AG and the U.S.'s Occidental Petroleum Corp. 

Libya's National Oil Co. said Wednesday that it was investigating the causes of the explosion. Libyan officials couldn't be immediately reached for comment.
