, is currently in late stage development and will be comprised of 166
wind turbines made by Vestas Wind Systems (VWS.KO) . Construction is expected
to start in the second quarter of 2013 and reach commissioning in mid-summer
2014. When operational, Blackspring Ridge will be the largest wind project in
the province.
- When operational, Blackspring Ridge wind farm will
supply a clean energy for approximately 140,000 homes.
