China 's General Administration of Customs confirmed Monday that March crude-oil imports totaled 23.05 million metric tons, equivalent to 5.45 million barrels a day, down 2.2% from a year earlier.

China 's imports from Iran rose 61.1% in March to 1.73 million metric tons.

China didn't import a significant amount of gasoline in March.

Diesel imports fell 62.3% to 21,080 tons, while diesel exports rose 643.6% to 415,931 tons, the data showed.

Kerosene imports were down 1.7% at 473,388 tons, while fuel oil imports were down 27.0% at 2.06 million tons.
