Russia's Federal Tariff Service may increase the tariff on oil shipments charged by OAO Transneft (TRNFP.RS) by an average of 6.3% from Oct. 1, the service said Tuesday. An FTS draft order posted on a government website Tuesday said the proposal to increase tariffs was in response to a request by state-controlled Transneft, which runs Russia's oil-pipeline network.
