Russian oil giant Rosneft (ROSN.RS) has signed a deal to explore for and develop energy in Bolivia , state oil company YPFB said Saturday.

The company signed a memorandum of understanding with Rosneft to undertake "a study of all areas of exploration" in Bolivia 's energy sector, according to a statement by Carlos Villegas, president of YPFB.
